August 2017 – This is by far Carmella\’s most unusual puppy sprawl pose. She has been doing the puppy sprawl since she was a puppy and still doing it at almost 5 years old! Her poses obviously have been refined. I think she\’s trying to get some elevation and stretch into her older bones here but still ready to spring into action! Classic Carmella huh? She can\’t miss anything.

Hello Everyone! I’m Carmella and my mommy is Carol, founder of Pawtivity. We love going on adventures! I’m a lucky pup – my mom is always taking me to try new things! I love disc/frisbee, snuggles, running, and hiking and being with my hoomans. I can’t wait to meet and play with everyone here!

August 2017 – We went to Cascade Falls Trail located in the Orange Grove section of Patapsco Valley State Park. This was a new hiking trail for Carmella – in honor of National Dog Day 2017. The trail was beautiful and meandered next to a small stream, ending with a small waterfall. A great water play area for any dog and picnic spot. You do have to watch your footing here, but it makes it more of a challenging and fun hike. The area is very shady, even on a hot day. Highly recommend!

Carmella has such high prey drive. She loves to chase anything that moves – I guess it is part of her breed\’s natural instinct (patterdale terrier). She had no problem getting into disc. Carmella can go around me to catch a toss, but trying to practice on getting the disc better in her line of sight as she goes to catch it. Any suggestions from anyone?

Just in after a walk! She looks so happy! 🙂 Makes me happy!
