It’s a skijoring race! Skijoring is a sport that where dogs pull a cross-country skiier. Dogs are harnessed to their owner and the owner uses poles to help push forward. This skijoring race starts at 9:00am and ends at the NTN Forestville Trailhead, off Forestville Road. The race is limited to 50 teams. Racers can race with 1, 2, or 3 dogs.
Congrats! Take a photo of you and your dog at the finish line! How did you train with your dog? Any tips for those interested in going next year?
