Take an Agility Class
Special Interest: Agility
Agility is an increasingly popular sport that can be taught to any dog. Dogs love agility! It’s basically a large obstacle course for dogs based on time and accuracy. Handlers must train their dogs to go through each obstacle. Obstacles could include hurdles, tunnels, a high jump, weave poles, and a pause box. You can also come up with your own obstacles for recreational play.
Consider joining a Pawtivity group or search for a trainer in our service directory to learn more about agility and how to get started. If you are interested in competing, contact the United States Dog Agility Association for specific rules and regulations.
Bonus: Earn more points by mastering different agility obstacles, such as the A-Frame or Weave Poles!
