A great hike to see the San Gabriel Valley!
Special Interest: Hiking
Monrovia Canyon Park (Monrovia, CA) features several hiking trails and picnic areas. The Waterfall trail is an easy 2-3 mile long hike round trip with a waterfall at the end where you and your dog can cool off, play, and rest. There is ample shade from trees on the trail, so it’s a perfect hike for a hot day. The Ben Overturff Trail is a much harder trail at up to 7 miles that takes you through the canyons for some great views of San Gabriel Valley. This park gets crowded on holidays, so come early! There is a small fee for parking. You can download trail maps here.
