Create A Backyard Obstacle Course
Special Interest: Agility
This is a fun activity, especially if you have a few other hands around (ahem…kids that need a good distraction or project to do). Use a little ingenuity and creativity to put together an obstacle course. Go over boxes, jump over poles, climb chairs, limbo under poles, throw a frisbee, catch a ball, crawl through a tunnel, herd a ball into a goal, ride a skateboard, run laps, crawl on the ground, or jump up and down. Add in elements such as whip cream, confetti, mud, water, or ice. Design a course and take a picture of it with your dog. Make things harder by timing the obstacle course. Invite others to join in on the fun! Consider joining a Pawtivity group to get additional ideas from others. Or start one yourself!
Take a photo or video of your dog zooming through a backyard obstacle course. It must have at least 3 obstacles. Tell others what you used in your obstacle course and how you made it.
